PSAT

The PSAT is a practice test for the SAT college admissions test for juniors and serves as a qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship Competition. This test is optional for juniors. Sophomores may register for the PSAT but priority will be given to juniors. While sophomores can take the exam (based on availability) as practice, sophomores will not qualify for the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Competition. This is a national exam, therefore, there is no make-up testing.

Registration information was discussed in Advisory in September.

The PSAT test will be given at Mayo High School on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 7:40 am.

Registration: Sept. 11 through Oct. 6, 2017

Tests are limited and registration is on a first come first serve basis and again, priority will be given to MHS junior students first.
