Counseling Office

Welcome to Mayo High School

The mission of the Mayo High School Counseling Department is to work in collaboration with students, parents, educators and the community to promote the optimal academic, career, and social/emotional development of all students. We provide an array of resources to facilitate a safe, supportive and nurturing environment to assist students in achieving their potential, becoming life-long learners and productive citizens of a modern global community.

Students and their parents/guardians are invited to schedule conferences with a counselor at any time during the school year. Educational, career, and personal issues will receive sincere attention. The guidance and counseling services at Mayo are planned to help you (1) understand yourself, your strengths and limitations, (2) understand the world in which you live and work; and (3) arrange a plan for yourself in the light of those understandings.

Do we make a difference? Absolutely!
