Student Support Services
There are many courses available to students who need special support in their educational programs above and beyond what might be available to them in the regular curriculm. Some of these course are made available to students based on middle school sceening and recommendations from teachers or counselors. Other programs/courses require recommendation by the Child Study Team or the active IEP. Placement in these classes is based on the determination of a handicapping situation which indicates a specific class or learning environment in which the student's educational needs can best be met. Parent/guardian knowledge and consent are required for the services of these programs. If you have any questions, please contact your counselor.
