Fundraising
Fundraising in the Mayo band program is almost always for raising funds to be used for students' tour payments.  Profits are tracked individually and can be used for these payments.  If you want to know how much your student has in his or her trip account, just email Mr. Cole.

SCRIP Fundraising: This is a type of fundraising where you sell (or purchase for yourself) gift cards at face value and get a percentage of that value back in fundraising profit.  Email Mr. Cole if you want to get started.  There is also a way to do some of this on your phone.  Great for when you're in the line at a store and want to pay with a SCRIP gift card to get some money back.  Buy the gift card on your phone while you are waiting in line.

Cub Foods bagging for tips: This is an event we typically hold in November of each year.  Students can bag for tips at Cub Foods.  Profits are distributed based on the amount of hours worked that day.

Puffins/Butterbraids: This is a traditional food style fundraiser where students sell and deliver Puffins and Butterbraids.  Look for Puffins in the fall and Butterbraids in the Spring.

Concessions stand: sometimes the band signs up to work the concession stand at a sporting event.  Funds are distributed to groups at the end of that sports season and applied to students trip accounts based on the hours worked.
